My goals for the summer (starting late June, ending mid September when I return to Uni)

Projects

• Complete my Raspberry Pi cyberdeck project
• Fix up the GameBoy Color and PSP I have in the cupboard
• Build a Pi-based, local-only smart speaker system for home
• Build a small arcade stick
• Start learning pixel art

Outdoor

• Explore my local area more, on bike and on foot
• Visit local gardens
• Take photos

Computers

• Complete 4 coding projects
  • XLib reader
  • Photo website generator
  • Weather TUI
  • 1 other
• Mess around with the "n" file manager
• Consistently update my blog
• Write 10 articles on my website
• Make a gopher/minimal no-css site
• Create photography website
• Create a wiki on my website

Media

• Complete 4 retro games (Kirby's Adventure, Castlevania and 2 others)
• Complete 2 modern games (Minecraft playthrough and 1 other)
• Complete 1 RPG/JRPG (Goal is FF VI)
• Finally play the proper version of Forza Horizon 2 on the XBox One (need to buy XBox One, only ever played XBox 360 version)
• Read 3 fiction books (LOTR 1, Renegades 2 and 1 other)
• Read 1 non-fiction book (A general history book)
• Read a comic book series
• Watch 2 TV shows (The Clone Wars re-watch and 1 other)
• Read a news article each day
• Take notes on stuff I read/listen to (news/politics and history)

Health

• Lose 5kg
• Exercise 3x a week
• Start cycling again
• Break 2 habits

Other

• Build my backlog of LEGO
• Tidy up my rooms, sell/give away unneeded stuff, decorate study
  • Make fake game cases to represent my favourite games
• Write in journal every day
• Replace my phone with alternatives
• Get ahead of next semseter, with Uni modules
